Job Description

A Senior finance manager is a financial professional who oversees a team of financial managers and associates, who collect and analyze financial data for a company. You have to manage the day-to-day operations of the financial team and ensure the completion of regular tasks and long-term projects. You will hold functional responsibility over accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and grants administration. The position will also be responsible for ensuring that the systems and procedures are in place to support effective program implementation and conducting flawless audits.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Compose timely and accurate financial analysis and forecasts
  • Provide financial analysis and steer the management to focus on areas for cost savings and improve profit margins
  • Help define and create financial reporting packages, metrics, and dashboards to enable decision making
  • Oversee deal closings and fund operations
  • Read and interpret LPAs
  • Supervise & assist general administration support to the finance team members across all areas, as needed
  • Prepare balance sheets. Process invoices. Record accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Update internal systems with financial data
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
  • Maintain payroll files and reports
  • Maintain all client accounts of time, billings and payments.
  • Prepare all monthly client invoicing and vendor payments for management team approval and emailing.
  • Keeping records and tracking of all company assets purchased and in use.
  • Good knowledge on Tally Prime accounting
  • GST calculation, Taxation & Auditing
  • Creating detailed business plans to reach predetermined goals and quotas

  • Knowledge on Retail industry
  • Creating financial goals. Developing investment strategies
  • Interpreting financial analysis into useable information
  • Creating financial reports and delivering them to executives
  • Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for the company
  • Creating budgets. Working with executives to develop financial strategies

PG Degree Finance / Commerce, CA / ICWAI with above 60% in academics with excellent extra-curricular activities engagement.

Experience

15 years’ + experience on Core Finance & Accounting preferably from retail industry
(E-commerce)
